Hey all! My name is Ethan Smith, and I am a first-semester sophomore enrolled at Slippery Rock University. I am in college studying Secondary English Education, and am keeping this blog for my class "Writing for Non-Print Media." I am the second one in my family to pursue a degree here after my brother who graduated this time last year.  The purpose for I am keeping this blog is to give me an outlet for reflecting upon the units in which we progress through in this class over the course of the current semester. I am looking forward to keeping an open mind to ideas that I may not agree with, or even to ideas that I am unfamiliar with. I expect to learn a lot while in this class and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and strengthening my mind alongside my peers.
